If you’re seeking adventure, there’s always fascinating stories behind headstones. Lone Mountain Cemetery possesses a peaceful, desert view for a walk, along with touring graves that date back to as early as 1865.
But there’s more than just the outdoors; right next to Mills Park is Carson Aquatic Facility, open year-round.
There also are opportunities to join a hockey league; the Sierra Inline Hockey stadium is located at Mills Park.
The Boys & Girls Club of Western Nevada is always looking for volunteers in the area and their main office is located in Northridge. Contribute the community just a short distance from your front door!
